JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible to safely and economically deliver and unload merchandise to all stores, pick up returned items from stores and deliver to designated areas and pick up goods from factories and deliver to warehouses. Maintain and create daily DOT logs for on-road inspections by DOT. Perform pre and post equipment inspections on all equipment assigned. Maintain equipment in clean and serviceable condition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Safely deliver and unload merchandise to all stores and pick up returns and deliver to designated area. Safely pick up merchandise from factories and deliver to destination. Safely transport trailers of merchandise between distribution centers.
- Perform pre and post inspections on assigned equipment. Create vehicle inspection sheet for equipment.
- Maintain personal daily DOT logs per DOT regulations and retain needed copies.
- Fill out Out-of-State mileage reports. (As required)
- Communicates information to and from stores, factories and the traffic department throughout the corporation and outside sources. Answers questions.
- Distributes merchandise list and other correspondence to stores and factories.
- Maintain assigned equipment in serviceable condition (clean inside and outside of tractors, refuel daily upon completion of workday.
- Understand the W.S. Badcock Traffic Policies and follow them.
- Retrieve and return belts and packing from stores to the warehouse.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General housekeeping duties – also keep trucks clean and neat inside.
- Assist in miscellaneous duties as required by management.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Valid CDL (A) drivers license with 3 points or less.
- Valid medical certification card
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, walk, stand, sit for long driving periods, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist and reach with hands and arms.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school / GED
- One to two years warehouse and traffic experience.
- Two to four years experience delivery / traffic experience.
- Ability to read and understand maps and directions.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
Works inside and outside in varying weather conditions. May be subject to fumes, dust and airborne particles. May work near moving mechanical parts and subject to vibration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to assist customers and stores in carrying out the credit services process related to delinquent accounts as well as processing accounts for litigation and bankruptcy. Assist in all areas of the Credit Services Department.
- Prepare and mail various letters including but not limited to: bad check, collections, FOI, audits and general response letters.
- Prepare account audits and mail, fax or email to appropriate party.
- Evaluate, research, and validate requests for customer account adjustments. Make necessary and accurate adjustments to accounts in accordance with company and departmental policies.
- Provide superior support to customers, retail stores, dealers and other company departments by providing requested information or workable solutions to customer account, billing, bankruptcy, credit granting and/or litigation matters in a timely and courteous manner.
- Receive customer payments, post to customer accounts following established payment acceptance policy. Record payments for bankruptcy accounts.
- Process litigation and repossession requests and communicate status to stores.
- Provide information to banks and mortgage companies (account verification)
- Communicate necessary and accurate information with outside parties such as courts and/or attorneys.
- Process bankruptcy dismissals and or discharges.
- Review and transfer or flag accounts as needed according to policy and procedure.
- Follow all laws and regulations governing credit and collections, as well as corporate policies and procedures developed to reinforce those laws and regulations.
- Perform special projects or tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma / GED
- Two years of collections, billing, or customer service experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, courts, outside attorneys, customers and personnel by telephone, or through written communication; assimilate information and make decisions; work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner.
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Ability to use and complete the essential functions with the Credit Services systems.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages in order to evaluate merchandise value.
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task.

PERFORMANCE INCENTIVES
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to: manually repairing all types of furniture items the corporation sells. Assist dealers and managers with furniture repair of customer’s merchandise.
- Repair damaged merchandise and repair customer's merchandise..
- Travel to customer's homes and retail stores to accomplish repair needs. (Technician schedules and visits on a regular basis all stores assigned to him/her. During this visit the technician is responsible to make any and all repairs as needed.
- Order parts and compile daily work sheets. (Technician is required to keep and submit all paperwork and records as required by departmental and corporate policy.)
- Maintenance of equipment and cleaning work van as necessary. (Technician will be required to maintain assigned company vehicle and tools. Vehicle will be regularly serviced, kept clean, stocked and organized in order to facilitate professional service and corporate image.)
- Leather/Vinyl Furniture - Technician will be required to make professional level L/V repairs including rips and tears, filling and curing, coloring, topcoat, sewing and any other repairs necessary to restore company and customer furniture to original factory condition, or to maximize value.
- Wood Repairs - Technician will be required to make professional level case good repairs including filing, coloring, gluing, veneer, case frame and any other repairs necessary to restore company and customer furniture to original factory condition, or to maximize value.
- Upholstered Furniture - Technician will be required to make professional level upholstery repairs including fabric, sewing, frame, mechanisms, electric components, springs, cushioning, and any other repairs necessary to restore company and customer furniture to original factory condition to maximize value.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma / GED
- One to two years of upholstery and wood working repair experience.
- Ability to evaluate and assess problems and evaluate repair needs.
- Clean, valid driver’s license.
- Physical lifting of furniture 50-75 pounds.
- Ability to operate equipment and power tools required for the job.
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems (Windows, MS Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Good public relations skills and ability to satisfy both dealers and customers.
- Operate hand truck and float.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, lift, and use hands and arms.
- Must be able to climb, push pull, lift carry, walk and maneuver furniture and equipment.

Deliver and install merchandise to customers home.
Ability to lift 75lbs. 200 lbs. with assistance of dolly or another person.
Clean, valid drivers license, ability to be DOT certified.
Work shift Mon-Sat, to include late evenings and weekends

Dealer Advisor:
Direct and assist dealers to achieve a high level of performance
Conduct analysis of market competition through store shops and advertising reviews
Conduct accurate and thorough evaluation of dealer stores through personal visits and report analysis
