Record payments for bankruptcy accounts. - Process litigation and repossession requests and communicate status to stores. - Provide information to banks and mortgage companies (account verification) - Communicate necessary and accurate information with outside parties such as courts and/or attorneys. - Process bankruptcy dismissals and or discharges. - Review and transfer or flag accounts as needed according to policy and procedure. - Follow all laws and regulations governing credit and collections, as well as corporate policies and procedures developed to reinforce those laws and regulations. - Perform special projects or tasks as assigned by management.   QUALIFICATIONS:   - High school diploma / GED - Two years of collections, billing, or customer service experience. - Ability to communicate effectively with management, courts, outside attorneys, customers and personnel by telephone, or through written communication; assimilate information and make decisions; work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner. - Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel). - Ability to use and complete the essential functions with the Credit Services systems. - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages in order to evaluate merchandise value. - Strong analytical skills, problem solving and decision making abilities. - Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task.

Assigns specific duties. Trains employees in all aspects of store operations, product information, job requirements and safety. - Develops staff for future promotions through the implementation of the company’s training program. - Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures; evaluates employee work performance; initiates personnel actions such as recruitment, recognition, selection, promotions, transfers, payroll changes, disciplinary or dismissal measures and document all actions. - Resolves employees’ work grievances; interprets store policies to employees; motivates employees; investigates and resolves customer complaints. - Supervises staff to ensure performance of duties in a safe manner that meets company health and safety standards. Conducts regular job safety and accident prevention meetings. Investigates the circumstances of all accidents and injuries and files written reports with the corporate office. Takes necessary action to ensure a safe, healthy work environment for staff and customers. - Supervises cash control; verifies and makes bank deposits; ensures inventory accuracy through routine inventory audits. - Implements all company policies and procedures. - Examines, analyzes, and evaluates store operations, training, and sales. Plans and initiates remedial action as necessary. - Prepares sales and merchandise reports; reviews operating and financial statements; takes action to increase profits. - Other duties as assigned by management. Must also maintain areas of consigned merchandise until the proper shipping date.    Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 7:00PM - 5:00AM   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   - Load / unload merchandise, i.e., furniture, appliances and home furnishing accessories, from semi tractor trailers and other delivery vehicles- manually. - Operate tugger, forklift, order selector, etc. Shipping - - Locate and pull merchandise to be loaded onto semi trailers. - Scan merchandise and sort it according to shipping dates - Maintain designated areas in the warehouse where merchandise, already consigned to specific stores can be held until the proper ship date. AND/OR Receiving - - Accurately scan merchandise into the warehouse system and check for accuracy. - Properly tag merchandise coming into the warehouse. - Sort merchandise for placement in warehouse storage. - Properly place merchandise in assigned racks and bins throughout the warehouse.   JOB QUALIFICATIONS:   - Must be able to lift 75 lbs. – 50 lbs. chest high and maintain production for at least 12 hrs. - Ability to lift, stand, bend, stoop, reach and walk for at least 12 hours per shift. - Ability to operate or learn to operate a tugger, forklift, order selectors, etc - Must be able to communicate effectively with others. - Must be able to read shipping tags, documents and work-related paperwork. - Ability to associate numbers / cross-reference for tagging. - Ability to work a 12 hour shift - 3 days per week, and work overtime if necessary. - Must be able to work independently, as well as with others. Assist with appliance and electronic questions from stores and other departments. Work with outside servicers to arrange for merchandise repair. Ensure efficient flow of merchandise through the returns process.   - Check all incoming appliances, lawn and garden merchandise and electronics – send items in need of repair to the proper repair facility and, when received back, make sure they are in good working order. - Perform minor repair work on appliances and electronics where needed, if possible and practical. - Price repaired or distressed merchandise for resale. - Prepare and send merchandise to stores for resale. - Assist stores, customers and other departments with questions regarding appliances and electronics. - Determine which merchandise is too damaged to repair; salvage parts and prepare merchandise for recycling or disposal. - Process paperwork and document inventory/store systems to record merchandise disposition and assist with manufacturer’s warranty recovery. - Process appliance and electronics parts orders.   Qualifications:   - One year of college or technical school (preferred) - One to two years practical experience in repair work - One year knowledge of appliance and electronics (features and inner workings) - Ability to use hand tools, solder, etc. - General clerical skills, filing and phones. - Computer literate with knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. - Ability to communicate effectively with sales representatives, store personnel, customers, and other personnel by telephone, in person, or through written communication; assimilate information and make decisions; work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner. - Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. - Valid driver license and good driving record - Ability to lift, carry, stoop, bend, sit, walk, stand for long periods of time.     Equal Opportunity Employer/Drug Free Workplace
