    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Assist in all aspects of maintenance, repair, and construction project management of corporate stores and leased properties. Complete maintenance or construction project tasks that ensure the store locations meet safety, appearance, and operational standards established by the W.S. Badcock Corporation. Oversee outsourced maintenance and construction projects within the region.

    • Perform a variety of general maintenance, preventative maintenance or repair work  in a variety of areas including (but not limited to): Commercial HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and/or flooring.
    • Perform site visits and due diligence inspections; evaluate overall site condition; determine course of action (if any), make repairs and/or verify quality of workmanship of outside vendor.
    • Coordinate and facilitate store maintenance and constructions projects.
    • Establish and adhere to project schedules.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • High school diploma or equivalent  required and one year of technical or trade school preferred
    • Three years of Commercial HVAC experience required
    • One to two years roofing, electrical, plumbing or building maintenance experience preferred
    • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
    • Ability to travel and stay overnight when necessary
    • Ability to recognize maintenance issues and determine necessary course of action.
    • Ability to communicate effectively; assimilate information and make decisions; work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving abilities.
    • Strong computer skills
    • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
    • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, kneel.
    • Refrigerant usage certification required.
