JOB SUMMARY:

 

As a Social Media Specialist, you will assist in creating solid strategy and fresh content for our customer-focused social media channels. You will assist in cultivating a positive brand image and aid in many aspects of reputation management including regular monitoring of social channels and external review boards and working towards satisfactory customer resolutions. You will stay up to date with the best practices and trends in social media and customer experience while regularly providing analysis on our social channels and review sites.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Research the latest trends in social media content and stay up to date with platform changes.
  • Assist in devising strategy for content and posts for our social media channels.
  • Assist in creating content for social media channels including written, visual, and video pieces.
  • Assist in creating a publishing schedule for content and posts.
  • Schedule and manually post content to corporate brand social pages and accounts.
  • Monitor individual social store pages and accounts to ensure compliance with corporate social media guidelines.
  • Monitor corporate pages, store pages, and external review areas for customer commentary and posts.
  • Serve as a dedicated customer service representative and work with customer posts and messages to find a resolution.
  • Provide regular analysis of social channels and external review boards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Proven work experience in B2B or B2C social media management.
  • High level of knowledge on social media platforms and external review sites.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and trends.
  • Superb communication skills with an emphasis on written communications.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role with a great attitude in providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Attentive to detail and able to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
  • A positive attitude and a creative mind with a logical side.
  • Strong command of the English language and grammar.
  • Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s preferred, or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising, customer service, public relations, or reputation management.
